final fantasy finaly enterned the ps2 system link of successful games. square-enix took it to the limit and then pushed it about 100x, with amazing graphics for what software they were given, good sound track and i personaly think good voice acting that made you realy connect to the characters. a lengthy game that never slows down with more twists and turns than you can imageing wothout getting predictable. amazing gameplay that lets you stratergize like never before and actualy give you a chance against tricky bosses. even though it had different writters, music prgramers and gameplay/graphic designers/programmers, they kept it traditional with a love story that was ingageing and kept bringing you back for more. one of my favourites of the series nearly as good as 7 and 8 and a step foward from 9. probly the best game on the ps2.

Well-done. The Final Fantasy series enters the PS2 Genre with a bang. Amazing graphics, and a long game. A long game is something I love. A strong storyline, overall, as well. There are decent side-things to do, including (but not limited to) completely rearranging the sphere grid to max your stats out, capturing 10 of every monster in the game to make an ultimate monster to fight, and blitzball. The only weakness of the game is the voice acting, but honestly, who cares? Its the first one to even have voice acting of the series. Nine and a half out of ten, I would say.

This has got to be the best roleplay game ever created. Not saying it couldnt be improved, but its just so awe-inspiring. The story line was very addictive to follow. The game was rather easy to complete but you can play the game over and over again. this game was brilliant!!!

Oh My God. Those were my first thoughts as I sat and watched the opening scene. Compared to the other Final Fantasy games, these graphics blow them out of the water. The characters are easy to fall for just as any other Final Fantasy Game. I became so completely involved with the game I actually shed a tear or two at the end. Riku is by far the best but Yuna has better costumes. The scenes are done so well that it is almost as if you are watching a movie. The great thing is you can go back whenever you like to watch them over and over. Just make sure you have enough gill to buy them all. They are not cheap.

This game is much more better than all the previous because you can now can exceed the 9,999 health points, the 9,999 damage points and the 999 mana/magic points, also now you don't need to spend mp to summon aeons. The downside it's that you lose if the three characters die. It's a very good game that anyone should try. The story also includes real short movies with real persons, also there are parts where you only can use some characters. One of the many upsides it's taht there is a mini game(Blitzball) where you can get items very rare or not so rare.

Well, this game was very unique and mind boggling. I really enjoyed the cinematic squences and the character design was down right marvlous...Wo else enjoy Tidus, Wakka, Yuna, Rikku, Lulu, and Auron ((And that other guy kamirai or whatever)) I really enjoyed the Blitz Ball Tournament. Was it me or did Seymour kick my butt the first time.
MAN I MISS TIDUS.....And I dont know who actually played with KAMIRI or whateva his name is. I give this game 10-10 |

I really liked this game. I think it's more for the experienced final fantasy fans because of one reason. Sphere Grid. I tried introducing my little brother to the Final Fantasy series with this game and it confused the hell out of the poor little guy. The storyline was deep and involving... and there was moments in the game where I completely forgot about the little hunk of plastic in my hand. I call this experience "gaming Zen". Great game... I score it at 8.5.

In most ways, this was my least favorite Final Fantasy game. I'm not saying I didn't like it, I just liked other ones better. The one thing that this one did excel in though was it's graphics, which is expected given it's the first of the series to come out on Playstation 2. Visually, this is the most amazing game of Final Fantasy so far. The plot was still good, though it couldn't compare to that of the previous games. The main character, Tidus, is a very young and naive sort of person, but he is a quick learner. Through most of the game, your most obvious enemy is Sin, though there are a couple twists tossed in there to make killing it not so simple a task. There are many turning points in the story, but I don't like giving away secrets. All of this is what makes it such good story. The music was very good I think, and the movies were incredible visually. The main drawback to the game for me was the elimination of the world map. I think that was one of the most important factors in all the disappointment drawn from Final Fantasy fans. But even so, Final Fantasy X remains one of the most popular of the series.

Final Fantany was a fun and beautiful game. With its unique graphics and stunning music to me it was quite possibly the best one of the serious. The graphics were absouletely gorgeuos as the sweat fell down Yuna's face in that breath taking scence. And how the music would just suck you in, in all its action and all it had to offer. I must say though, Tidus was really gay, but he did it for Yuna. He wanted to always see her happy. And you cant blame him for going all out to make the one he love smile, even in the toughest situations. No matter situation they were in he wanted them all to be happy and to not give there hopes up. I think thats the message he was trying to give out. but for the most part this game deserves a 10. Square soft spent three years on this one and it showed. Now as for X-2,thats another story.

At first, I wasn't too impressed by Final Fantasy X, either. And Tidus is just about the most annoying, shrill and squealy character ever fabricated...but almost lovably so. Yes, there are a lot of FMVs, and the plot has a few holes and yawn moments, but it's still a great game, with some wonderful gameplay. Its differences from other Final Fantasies are really quite refreshing, I think. But maybe that's just the opinion of a silly RPG-only teen girl. ; )

All I can say about this game is that it focused way too much on gaphics. There is an FMV about every five seconds which gets really annoying. The storyline in my opinion is pretty dull and not interesting. I always like a good villain, something this game clearly lacked. Also the sphere way of gaining levels rather than levels is really strange to me. First of all, the key spheres are annoying cause you could train forever and not gain anything. You could be forced to go back. Furthermore, in the end all of your characters will have very similar stats and abillities which is just boring. I don't like the absence of a world map, its just not fun, and then when you get the airship its so hard to figure out where you've been. Overall, not the best game for long term Final Fantasy fans.

Final Fantasy X is one of my favorite games, simply because of the different format than any of the other games. The storyline could use a little work, but I love how it involves the characters family's and such. There are things about it that I don't like. I like the side games and mini games, and the only one I like in this game is finding the enemies.
