This game boasts a the powerful Saber3D engine which allows you to really enjoy the texures and effects of your Timeshift powers, The game is basicly a Sci-fi Shooter. The storyline is average but with the occasional little exciting punch, The weapons in the game are great with your basic assualt rifles to your odd crossbows and various other goodies. Now the icing on the cake...The timeshift powers, your character has 3 powers:
1)Slow down time: basicly it just slows down time around you so you get kind of a matrix feel with bullets flying around you.
2)Freeze time: stops everything which can be useful in fighting lots of enemies especially the flying enemies, but the downside is the amount of energy it uses.
3)Time rewind: Rewinds time excluding your character who is protected from it, this can be a good thing and a bad thing, like if you kill a guy he can come back but it is also good for crossing difficult areas.
The scenery in the game is pretty well designed but eventually you might get a little tired with the repitition of tones and colours but everytime you get bored with the enviroment something comes up and brightens the whole experiance.
One of the best things about this game is the npc AI, they AI is fantastic. The AI has great reactions to your players presence with squad tactics and proper ambushing and flanking method. The AI is probally the best AI ive ever come up against in any game.
Overall this game is a great shooter with plenty of extra thrills to make the player have a great gaming experiance. |
